The Harrisonville-based auto dealer bought Nevada Auto Mall, 2501 E. Austin Blvd. in Nevada, Missouri, for an undisclosed amount in late March. The acquisition comes less than a year after the company added two Manhattan, Kansas, dealerships - Flint Hills Ford and Flint Hills Hyundai, now Max Ford and Max Hyundai - to its lineup.

The purchase gives Max Motors a second location in Nevada and its tenth location overall.

Founded in 2006 by Mark Muller, the company ranked No. 41 on the Kansas City Business Journal's most recent Private Companies List with $240.23 million in revenue in 2020.

CEO and co-owner Robert Jacaway joined the company in 2017.
